If you cannot name the metric, do not build the system.
Every engagement is tied to a number we can name on day one and watch move. "Reduce manual work" is not a metric.

Operational AI is judged by what it ships, not what it can say.
The proof is multi-step work running in production, with audit trails the team can read. Chatbots and demos do not count.

The team that uses the system has to own the system.
We train on the way out. If the people running the workflow cannot extend, debug, and trust it, the build did not finish.

Honesty about fit is part of the work.
If we are not the right partner for the problem, we say so on the first call. The wrong engagement costs both sides more than the right "no."
